Linux in Education

• Linux is still an unknown quantity, esp those using MS-based systems
• Others question stability, utility of OSS (Beware of FUD!)
• Support is important
  • LUGs can help by 'sponsoring' a school, providing technical advice, support and mentoring to users, admins.
