Technical Documentation

Often the documentation for various components/elements of the Linux system are complicated or non-existant. The goal of this project is to collect, improve, and create technical documentation which is easier to understand and use, as well as being complete.

What?

There are several sub-projects which compose this project:

  • Collecting Existing Documentation
  • HOWTO Writing and Re-writing

Sub-Projects

There is alot of technical documentation which already exists, though much of which does not fulfill the goals of this project. In order to complete this project, however, the existing documentation, and therefore the missing and/or incompatible documentation must be determined.

This section will soon be split off into a separate document, with the contained pointers to technical documentation being collected and indexed in a more useable way.
