Serial ports

Serial ports are used to connect various devices to your computer, among them
a mouse and a modem. The serial ports are numbered 0-3, and each has a
name. The following table illustrates the names for each of these serial
ports:

1 ttyS1
2 ttyS2
3 ttyS3
