Adding an Application to the Toolbar

  1. Move the mouse pointer over the main menu applet on the panel
  2. Click and release the left mouse button
  3. Move the mouse pointer over the "Panel" menu item and a sub-menu will pop up
  4. Move the mouse pointer over the "Add to panel" menu item and a sub-menu will pop up
  5. Select the menu item (from the sub-menu) for the application you want to add to the panel
If the application you want to add to the panel is not in the menu, perform the following steps:
  1. Move the mouse pointer over the main menu applet on the panel
  2. Click and release the left mouse button
  3. Move the mouse pointer over the "Panel" menu item and a sub-menu will pop up
  4. Move the mouse pointer over the "Add to panel" menu item and a sub-menu will pop up
  5. Select the "Run Program" icon from the sub-menu and a tigre icon will appear on the panel
  6. Move the mouse pointer over the newly created icon
  7. Click and release the right mouse button and a menu will appear
  8. Select the "Properties..." menu item and the "Launcher Properties" window will appear
  9. Type a short name for the program in the "Name" text box
  10. Type a description of the program in the "Comment" text box
  11. Type the complete path to the application you want to run in the "Execute" text box
  12. Type the complete path to the icon you want on the panel in the "Icon" text box
  13. Select the "OK" button
