Opening an xterm

The following steps open an xterm
  1. Move the mouse pointer over the background.
  2. Click and release the left mouse button and a popup menu will appear.
  3. Move the mouse pointer over the "xterm" menu item.
  4. Click and release the left mouse button and an xterm will appear.
