- seul-dev-admin:
Responsible for the tools and utilities needed to maintain a SEUL
machine. This includes everything from /sbin/init to the
system-level configuration tools.
This group is currently without an official leader, but please
contact seul@seul.org if you
would like to help out.
- seul-dev-apps:
This group's charter is to either find, modify, or create appropriate
user-level applications, including "office" applications as well
as smaller utilities such as mixers and screen savers.
Micah Yoder is in charge
of this group.
- seul-dev-distrib:
Distribution issues, such as packaging, libraries, and dependencies,
are under this group's authority.
George Bonser leads this
group until further notice, pending personal medical issues.
- seul-dev-help:
The development and presentation of help and documentation is this
group's job. This includes making available a help system, SEUL
specific documentation, and existing documentation.
This group is led by Ken
Duck.
- seul-dev-install:
This group is charged with creating an installation method that can
be used by our target user. This will likely be accompished by using a
combination of new tools and existing installers.
Randy Heineke is in
charge of this group.
- seul-dev-ui:
This group has possibly the hardest job of all: that of choosing,
constructing, maintaining, and enforcing a single user interface paradigm
throughout the SEUL Project. GNOME
will be the basis for this interface, and if all goes well, GNOME and the
SEUL user inteface will be one and the same.
