Hello,

since TIMB is (unfortunately) not ready, yet, this is something you may
want to try.

The updater doesn't seem to be able to write outside its own directory,
unless there is a directory traversal feature built-in. (That would be a
bug.) This makes it necessary to have all folders of TIMB within the
folder "Browser" (with capitalized B).

I assume TIMB is going to be "installed" via an "installer". It would be
trivial to prompt the user to extract it to where Tor Browser was
extracted to.

Mostly my question is about using the mechanism, Tor Browser does not
have to be around. If the updater for Tor Browser turns out to be what
you are looking for, make it work for TIMB as well. Ship the same
mechanism with TIMB.

Regards,
Sebastian G. (bastik.tor)
