Anyone looked into Servo yet? =

	https://github.com/servo/servo

Servo is =93highly parallel" web browser layout engine developed by Mozilla=
. There is not yet a full web browser based on Servo, so no extension fram=
ework, but..

A layout engine=92s design could facilitate or hinder extensions like HTTPS=
Everywhere and Torbutton. Or even make them largely superfluous. =

A priori, the Servo developers sound pretty sympathetic to tor's concerns s=
ince they work for Mozilla and use Rust for security. It=92s might be wort=
h making friends. Or even explaining what Torbutton and HTTPS Everywhere a=
ctually do. =

It might help avoid another situation like with Chrome : =

erprinting

Best,
Jeff
